Welcome to the guest rooms, caravans and cottage of Les Gravets! We are Céline and Alain Barrère and we welcome you in this old farmhouse of more than 300 years, named “Les Gravets”, name of the place where it is located. Entirely renovated while keeping its authentic charm, this house has 3 guest rooms with a swimming pool, 2 caravans and a cottage, to welcome you all year round in the heart of nature.
An ideal site for green tourism, hiking and mountain biking or simply enjoying the calm of the place. Come and share our table d’hôtes with the local flavours of the Gascon soil.
Located in the South of Gironde at the gateway to the Lot-et-Garonne and close to Bazas, Langon, La Réole and Marmande. We are also at the crossroads of the Sauternes, Graves, Entre-deux-Mers and Côtes du Marmandais vineyards, an area of transition between the Lot-et-Garonne hillsides and the great forest of the Gascon moors.
Close to cycle paths (voies vertes), the Canal Latéral à la Garonne and Clémentins villages and castles as well as many other activities around nature and sport. All outdoor sports activities can be considered!
Tourism, culture, relaxation, a whole programme! We can also advise you or arrange for you a weekend or a few days of holidays à la carte, discovery stays and themed weekends
OUR ENVIRONMENT
The house is nestled in a small valley, in a hamlet, between the villages of Aillas and Sigalens.
We have a large area of meadow and shaded areas with trees, in the countryside and in a quiet setting. At the edge of the forest, mushrooms are within reach and hiking trails and walks start from the house.
A playground with a trampoline and also outdoor games available: petanque, balls, badminton, bowling, stilts, etc… And even an open-air cinema when the weather permits.
The mountain bike trails are less than a pedal away from the house! A GPS unit with all the routes is available, departure and arrival at the Gravets Guest House, followed by a well-deserved rest by the pool, in the shade of the cherry tree or in one of our quiet corners to relax!

A BIT OF HISTORY
The main house of “Les Gravets” is an authentic Bazadaise farmhouse, over 300 years old. Traces of this house can be found as early as 1700, and it was renovated and refurbished in the 1990s. Before that, the local elders remember that the ploughs, hay and tools were stored there.
Since 2003, the house has become a guest house and we have been receiving visitors. We took over the business in 2017 to share with you our passion for our little corner of the South of Gironde, to help you discover our land and all the little secrets of our region.
