The Gravets

Located in southern Gironde at the gateway to Lot-et-Garonne and close to Bazas, Langon, La Réole and Marmande. We are also at the crossroads of the Sauternes, Graves, Entre-deux-Mers and Côtes du Marmandais vineyards, an area of transition between the hillsides of Lot-et-Garonne and the great forest of the Gascony moors.
Les Gravets is nestled in a small valley in a hamlet between the villages of Aillas and Sigalens.
With more than a hectare and a half of land, we have a vast area of meadow and shady, wooded areas, in the countryside and in peace and quiet. We're right on the edge of the forest, with mushrooms within easy reach and hiking trails and walks starting from the house.

Who are we?

Les Gravets has been welcoming travellers for over 20 years, and for us this wonderful adventure began in 2017.

Where are we?

In the hamlet of Les Gravets, between the villages of Aillas and Sigalens, 40 minutes from Bordeaux.

Antique furniture, objects with a second life, furniture full of stories and memories, all with a view to conservation, to limit our consumption and its impact on the environment, but also to preserve these local objects and share their stories with you.

A bit of history...

The main house at Les Gravets is an authentic Bazadaise-style farmhouse that is over 300 years old. Traces of this house date back to 1700, and it was renovated and refurbished in the 1990s. In the past, local people remember it as a place to store ploughs, hay and tools.
Now a guest house, we have been welcoming visitors since 2003. We took over the business in 2017 to share our passion for our little corner of the South Gironde with you, to help you discover our local produce and all the little secrets of our region. A whole area to discover, local specialities and traditions of the South-West!
